Syria: A First Hand Report

Foreign Correspondent and investigative reporter Reese Erlich has covered Syria for many years. He returned from his latest trip to Syria in August 2014 and he writes about his experiences in his latest book: “Inside Syria: The Backstory of Their Civil War and What the World Can Expect”. Erlich says that people in Syria are understandably worried about the Islamic State but that the US bombing is making the situation worse. “It became very clear to me, based on the reporting, what a disaster the US bombing is…starting yet another war which is not going to be winnable.”
