Friday, Mar. 20: Stop the Hudson ICE detention center

11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Muse Apartments, 2270 S University Boulevard, Denver.

Together Colorado and Colorado Immigrants Rights Coalition  are urging the Highlands Real Estate Company, which owns the Hudson jail, to stop doing business with ICE, as part of a growing national movement. On the same day, allies in Illinois, Ohio, and California will hold solidarity, echo actions at Highlands properties in their states. Saturday, Mar. 21:  Speak up Southern Colorado community meeting on proposed Walsenburg ICE facility

1 p.m. – 4 p.m. at the Spanish Peaks Library, 415 Walden Ave in Walsenburg.

The event organizers invite the public to join them for a community gathering to discuss what this means for the community in Walsenburg, what this means for Colorado, and what communities can do to prepare for and resist ICE’s expansion campaign in Colorado.

 

Saturday, Mar. 21: Weekly Protest at Tesla dealership

Every Saturday 11 a.m. at the Superior Tesla dealership, 2 S Marshall Rd.

Join SoBoCo Indivisible to stand up and speak out! This is a peaceful protest against the Trump administration, on all four corners outside the Tesla dealership, where there is lots of traffic to see you and read your messages. mobilize.us/sobocoindivisible

Every Saturday at 12 p.m., by 3rd an d Main in Lyons.

 

 Sunday, Mar. 22: Indivisible ‘ICE out for good”

Every Sunday from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at West 80th Ave and Wadsworth Blvd in Arvada.

Protesters will stand outside and honor Alex Pretti, who had ties to the Arvada community.

 

 Sunday, Mar. 22: Peaceful demonstration at the Craig ICE Facility

2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. 466 Tucker St in Craig.

“A group of concerned folks in Moffitt County are peacefully demonstrating against the detainment of neighbors and friends.” Register on Mobilize.

 

Monday mornings: Overpass demonstration over Foothills Parkway

Monday mornings from 8:30-9:30 am. Sioux Pedestrian Overpass over Foothills Pkwy. Planned by Rise Up Boulder VB.

 

Monday afternoons: US 36th & 88th overpass

Mondays 3:45-5:00 pm at the US 36 at 88th overpass, organized by Rise Up Boulder VB. Register on Mobilize.

 

Wednesday afternoons: I-25 pedestrian bridge

Starting at 3 pm. 281 W 104th Ave, Northglenn 80234. Register on Mobilize.

 

Wednesday evenings: Weekly protest at the Arvada ICE facility 

At 3130 Oakland St in Aurora. Every Wednesday at 6 pm.

 

Thursday mornings: McCaslin pedestrian overpass

Organized by SoBoCo Indivisible & Rise Up Boulder VB. Thursday mornings starting at 8:45 a.m.

 

Thursday afternoons: Sioux pedestrian overpass over Foothills Pkwy

Saturday, Mar. 28: No Kings Day

With hundreds of gatherings across the U.S. with past events gathering thousands across the front range, the No Kings gathering stands as a wide swath of Americans valuing people and democracy over the county’s most powerful people. nokings.org

41 No Kings events are planned for Front Range cities, including Denver, Boulder, Fort Collins, Erie, Commerce City, Arvada, Aurora, Littleton, Westminster, Centennial, Northglenn, Golden, Highlands Ranch, Broomfield, Louisville, Lafayette, Longmont, Lyons, and more.

Forever Indivisible is stewarding Boulder’s No Kings rally at 1 p.m. Mar. 28. The protest will meet again at the bandshell located at Boulder’s Central Park at Canyon and Broadway.
