OutSources: Building Intersectional Spaces for Educators with Chords of Esperanza

Guests this week are Bethy Leonardi from A Queer Endeavor, and Nicole Sager, Tania Hogan, and Deena Gumina from The BUENO Center at the University of Colorado Boulder.

The BUENO Center and A Queer Endeavor are organizing Chords of Esperanza, a year-long virtual community of learning and practice for educators that focuses on creating safe and affirming spaces for LGBTQ+, immigrant, multilingual youth and youth of color. The organizers talk about the process and joys of developing an intersectional approach to pedagogy and supporting educators amidst challenging times.
