Survival Guide is a short three to five-minute segment that will air Fridays. Segments will include how-to tutorials for things that do not involve or involve little spending. It centers on ways that you can get crafty and make things on your own from home.

Topics will include: how to fix your own clothes or repair something in your house without buying something new. One of the main tenets is that everybody has a skill that is worth sharing.

People from the community and people within KGNU will be able to share different skills that they have and how they can be used by the everyday person.

This story aired on the Morning Magazine, KGNU’s weekday morning show featuring in-depth discussions on local news issues. Click here to listen to other episodes of the Morning Magazine.
