N.E.D. – Raising awareness of cancer through music

A rock band made up of six gynecologic oncology surgeons from across the country is using its music to create awareness about gynecologic cancers. N.E.D. or No Evidence of Disease was created as a cover band to entertain their peers at a medical conference and it is now the subject of a documentary by the same name. NED the movie will be shown in Regis Cinemas nationwide on February 4th 2015. It will be shown locally at the United Artists Denver Pavilions. Dr. Joanie Mayer Hope grew up in Boulder and is now living in Anchorage and is the only board-certified gynecologic oncologist in Alaska. She is the lead singer of N.E.D.
