Ongoing community response to the latest Denver police shooting fatality

A crowd of approximately 200 people gathered at Denver’s District 2 police station on Wednesday night in response to the latest fatal police shooting.  Members of the community group Denver Freedom Riders met with representatives of the Denver Police Department to discussMonday’s shooting of Denver teen Jessica Hernandez.  No members of the media were allowed to attend that meeting, but members of the Freedom Riders said afterwards that the police promised transparency in the investigation of the shootings and they assured there would be future meetings with the community.
