Sarah Woznick: Doctors Without Borders in Gaza

Sarah Woznick is an intensive care nurse who left the University of Colorado Hospital in January 2014 to work with Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in Gaza. Israel’s Operation Protective Edge began on July 8, one day before what should have been the last day of her assignment. Sarah decided to stay to support the MSF team during the Israeli military campaign against Gaza.

She spoke with Maeve Conran ahead of a talk at the University of Denver on Sept. 3rd.

You can learn more about Sarah Woznick, her experience with MSF, and Gaza crisis in a blog
post she wrote in July.
