One of the most dreaded illnesses among Americans today is dementia.  The journey from diagnosis to death is often long and complex in terms of health care, support systems, and personal losses and grief.  It can be devastating in many respects. But can it also include gifts?

On this installment of the quarterly program On Death & Dying, host Kim Mooney will discuss what a dementia diagnosis entails, and how different each person’s path can be. Mooney was joined in-studio by  Dr. Anne Giesen, and via zoom by Megan Carnarius.
