Saturday, August 10th in Boulder, people will gather for the 5th annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s on the CU campus. Money raised through the event goes to help the Alzheimer’s Association provide services to people living with the disease and support for the families and caregivers. It also goes to fund research. KGNU’s Maeve Conran spoke with Amelia Schafer, executive director of the Colorado chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, about new research trends coming out of last month’s international research conference.
