John Lehndorff on the history of Radio Nibbles KGNU News

This week is KGNU Radio Week, where we celebrate all things KGNU and recognize the impact of independent, community-driven media here on the Front Range.

We’re marking KGNU’s 48 years of providing local news, eclectic music, and community-led programming, while helping foster creative, innovative spaces. And this year is special because the station is preparing to move into a new home in downtown Boulder. This week’s special programming will highlight the incredible diversity of community members who make up KGNU.

On this week’s edition of Radio Nibbles, host John Lehndorff reflected on his origin with KGNU in 1982 and his fourth move to a new studio with the station. Lehndorff then discussed the Boulder Pastry 10k,a Boulder road and bike race he is proposing, that would feature local bakeries.

Radio Nibbles airs every Thursday on The Morning Magazine, KGNU’s weekday morning show featuring local news and community members. Click here to listen to other episodes of The Morning Magazine.
