Join us for a weeklong celebration of community-driven media and its impact across the Colorado Front Range. For almost 50 years, KGNU has provided local news, eclectic music, and timely information that impacts the community. Radio Week celebrates that and broader creative community across Boulder and the front range, especially as we get closer to moving into our new building.

Destination Freedom Live Broadcast from the Aurora Fox Arts Center
Join us for a special live broadcast of Destination Freedom: Black Radio Days from the Aurora Fox Theatre. This performance presents “A Letter From a Denver Jail” by Terrance “Big T” Hughes, a radio play about Marvin Booker, a street preacher who stood up for himself and died in a Denver jail after refusing to give up his shoes, as part of a three-part series exploring the experiences of unhoused people.
