Businesses Recycling in Boulder

Eco-Cycle and the Boulder Chamber of Commerce are teaming up to press for more business recycling in Boulder. The business recycling and composting is currently voluntary and as a result businesses in the city divert only 28 percent of their waste. The grassroots city-wide campaign will have dozens of volunteers delivering Take Action cards to businesses asking them to recycle. Veronica Balderas Iglesias speaks with Randy Moorman, Campaigns Director, Eco-Cycle, Dan Matsch, CHaRM and Compost Manager, Eco-Cycle and Kara Mertz, City of Boulder, Local Environmental Action Division.
