Hillary Hall receives the Clela Rorex award

“Mostly I got nothing but love and support and had my community behind me.”

Boulder Clerk and Recorder Hillary Hall received the 2015 Clela Rorex award from Out Boulder for her work in Marriage equality, for issuing same sex marriage licenses in 2014.  Clela Rolex, former Boulder County Clerk and Recorder who in 1975 also issued same sex marriage licenses introduced Hilary Hall. “Thank you for carrying that justice ball and picking up the pen and signing those marriage licenses. You didn’t have to do it but you did. Thank you.”
