Meeting Between Mexican President Peña Nieto and Obama Protested at White House

On January 6, 2015, Mexico’s president Enrique Peña Nieto met for the first time at the White House with US president Barack Obama.  Human rights and social justice groups protested the meeting saying that the two countries are complicit in the violence that is happening in Mexico now in the name of the drug war.  They also paid tribute to the 43 disappeared students who are missing in Ayotzinapa, Guerrero, Mexico.
