Colorado Supreme Court Halts same sex marriages in Boulder County

Update: The Colorado Supreme court has ordered Boulder County Clerk Hillary Hall to stop issuing same sex marriage licenses until there is a formal resolution to the case.

This comes after Colorado Attorney General John Suthers filed a motion last Friday with the Colorado Supreme Court to halt the Boulder County Clerk Hillary Hall from continuing to issue same sex marriage licenses. This comes after the Colorado Appeals Court denied a similar motion from the Colorado Attorney General on July 24th.
