EPA hearings in Denver on carbon emissions

Hundreds of people are expected to testify in Denver this week on proposed rules to reduce carbon emissions from coal-fired power plants. The Denver hearing is just one of several the Environmental Protection Agency is hosting across the country on the plans. Bente  Birkeland reports that both opponents and supporters lined up in mass on Tuesday and more are expected on Wednesday.

One of the people scheduled to testify today is Robin Blakeman with the Ohio Valley Environmental Council. She has traveled from Appalachia to Denver for these hearings.
