OutSources: Allies Series – Dr. Sara Staley and Dr. Bethy Leonardi

As a part of the continuing Allies Series, Janis Bohan and Glenda Russell talk with Dr. Sara Staley and Dr. Bethy Leonardi, founders of “A Queer Endeavor,” a program that aims to nurture allies in the schools – among teachers, students, and (eventually) parents. A Queer Endeavor is a multi-pronged effort that encompasses working with school districts and school personnel at all levels to eliminate bullying of all sorts and foster an atmosphere of inclusion. Glenda and Janis talk with Bethy and Sara about the program, their vision, the results they’re seeing – and an upcoming fundraiser.
