Colorado High School State Football Championships Find A New Home

Mile High is no longer the home of the Colorado State High School Football Championship game. Canvas Stadium will now host what is the biggest High School football game of the year. KGNU’s Jimmie Searfoss discusses why this is a good thing for the game.

Image by Shay Daly. This year’s Colorado High School Football State Championship game will move to Canvas Stadium at Colorado State University. The stadium which opened in 2017 seats about 41,000 people-a little over half the size of Mile High Stadium in Denver.
