A Conversation with Peruvian-American Artist Sandra Azcarate

Outsources host Angela Palermo interviews local artist and transgender ally Sandra Azcarate, in this encore broadcast from April 27, 2015.

An out cisgender lesbian, Sandra grew up in Lima, Peru, where she (amazingly) had significant contact with a slice of the transgender community. Sandra has been active in the local arts scene since the 90s and recently was a student in the Animation program at the Art Institute of Colorado. She is a prolific painter who has had many gallery shows over the last two decades.
