One doesn’t have to be a climatologist to see the ways in which our habitats are changing. Mary Young is the author of more than twenty books on the landscape, heritage and natural communities of the American West. She’s also the recipient of numerous literary awards, including the 2020 lifetime achievement award from the Colorado Authors League.

Young will be reading from and signing her latest book, Bluebird Seasons: Witnessing Climate Change In My Piece of the Wild this Thursday, August 10th at 6:30pm at the Boulder Book Store on the Pearl St. Mall. She spoke with KGNU’s Elena Klaver ahead of the event.
