Composting on the Front Range — MASA Seed Foundation KGNU News

Anyone who grows things here on the Front Range knows that our region presents some particular challenges. Last month’s episode of Kitchen Table Talk on KGNU featured a small farmer who spoke about his contributions to our local food system.

Even though he was just here to talk about veggies, we ended up getting many listener calls asking for specific home gardening advice– from pests, to varietals, and more. So, for those of you concerned about your vegetable gardens this year, or wanting to start one, we invited a local expert from our community to share some wisdom.

Rich Pecoraro from the MASA Seed Foundation brings us this practical advice about composting.

This story aired on the Morning Magazine, KGNU’s weekday morning show featuring in-depth discussions on local news issues. Click here to listen to other episodes of the Morning Magazine.
