The world was struck with shocking news this weekend as the Trump administration carried out the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores. Internationally, reactions to the conflict are mixed, with some celebrating Maduro’s capture while others are resisting the administration’s mission and Trump’s expressed interest in Venezuelan oil reserves.
