Radio Nibbles – Andria Bronsten on Boulder’s Food History

Radio Nibbles host John Lehndorff welcomed the remarkable Andria Bronsten, who has played many roles in Boulder’s food history, as well as the early days of KGNU. She talked about being a potter, co-owning Treats Bakery (Think chocolate cream-cheese cupcakes!), judging the National Pie Championships, and whipping up KGNU’s legendary chocolate mousse premium.

Andria also baked at Chautauqua Dining Hall, cooked at John’s Restaurant, and worked at the People’s Clinic, Community Free School and Community Food Share. She was also the bookkeeper for Hot Rize, our bluegrass heroes who will enter the IBMA hall of fame this fall.

What was the very best thing Andria Bronsten tasted this week? It’s well worth listening until the end of Radio Nibbles to find out..
