Hear from the CU postdoctoral fellow who was suspended from Boulder city council meetings for holding a sign too high

Padi Fuster Aguilera is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has her PhD in mathematics from Tulane University.

She regularly attends Boulder’s city council meetings, advocating for the city to call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

But, Fuster Aguilera won’t be able to attend those meetings in-person for the next several weeks. That’s because, on March 20th, the city issued her a suspension.

The reason? She held a sign too high at one of the council meetings.

KGNU’s Jackie Sedley sat down with Fuster Aguilera to hear her side of the story.
