Singer also talks about how the war on drugs still impacts people in Colorado as  those who are in prison or who have been in prison and now have criminal records due to non-violent drug offenses, are largely excluded from the legal marijuana industry. Singer says the legislature needs to do something about this as it forces people to remain in the black market.
