Twenty Five Years of History and Anecdotes from the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse

One of Boulder’s most iconic architectural landmarks – the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse – celebrates its 25th anniversary this month. The Museum of Boulder has an exhibit up to mark the occasion and the teahouse itself will be organizing some special events.

News Director Shannon Young recently stopped by the teahouse to and the museum to find out a bit more about this community fixture and the history behind it. Operator Sara Martinelli gave a detailed guided tour and shared her memories from the start of the teahouse. Elizabeth Nosek of the Museum of Boulder walked us through the exhibit.
