Denver Decides: The Right to Survive Initiative on Denver Ballot

Today Tish Beauford speaks with Denver Homeless Out Loud organizer Benjamin Dunning about Initiative 300 that Denver voters will decide on in May. 300 would “allow any individual to engage in activities, such as resting and sheltering oneself in a non-obstructive manner, in outdoor public places.”

Dunning has been a Denver resident for over 50 years, was formerly homeless for about 4 1/2 years 2008-2013 and was one of the original founders of Denver Homeless Out Loud.
