Teens Inc. : Serving the youth of Nederland for 20 years

2017 marks the 20th anniversary of Teens Inc., which has provides a safe, drug and alcohol free environment where youth can socialize, strengthen peer and adult relationships, develop healthy self-esteem, and master the leadership, academic and job-related skills they need to become constructive and productive members of society, for the youth of Nederland and surrounding communities.

KGNU’s Maeve Conran spoke with Sue Churches, Development Director of Teens Inc., about the last 20 years and what lies ahead.

On Saturday September 9th, the annual Teens Inc., Ned*Ned 5K, 10K and half marathon happens in Nederland. The event is a major fundraiser for Teens Inc.
