TEDx Boulder: Empathy and Malice

The TED talks have spawned thousands of local TEDx talks in communities around the world. the 6th TEDx Boulder is happening on Saturday September 19th. George Morris one of the event organizers says this year’s theme is Empathy and Malice.

Lindsay Levkoff Diamond, a former molecular biologist will be speaking on vaccinations “it’s a pretty polarizing topic particularly for Boulder County.”

Levkoff Diamond says she does not get on a soap box about the issue of vaccination, and plans on speaking to people who find themselves in the middle of what can be a polarizing topic “you have people on both ends of the extreme that are pro-vaccination or anti-vaccination but I think most of the population falls into that middle section where they just don’t have enough information to make an informed decision.”

The 6th TEDx Boulder is happening Saturday September 19th at Macky Auditorium on the CU Boulder campus.
