Square Product Brings Existentialist Comedy to Denver with Remount of “This Aunt is Not a Cockroach”

square product theatre in Boulder is back to back with two remounts of popular shows in both Denver and Boulder. The weekend of September 30th, square product theatre, in collaboration with the Theatre & Dance Department at the University of Colorado Boulder, presents 44 Plays for 44 Presidents on Friday and Saturday nights at 7:30 and Sunday at 2 p.m. on the CU Boulder campus. This highly relevant piece features short plays about and featuring all 44 Presidents of the United States, with a special 45th play voted on by the audience. Then the first week of October, square product theatre, in collaboration with Hoarded Stuff Productions will present a special remount of their acclaimed absurdist production, “This Aunt is not a cockroach” that’ll be at the Buntport Theater in Denver Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, October 6th, 7th and 8, all at 8 p.m. KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo had a chance to speak with Emily K. Harrison with Square Product Theater and Laura Ann Samuleson about it.
