Signs of Spring Along Boulder’s Heatherwood Trail

For this first Friday in March, we bring you our monthly look at the natural world on the Nature Almanac. Naturalists, Scott Severs and Ruth Carol Cushman, wander along Boulder’s Heatherwood trail. As their footsteps crunch over ice, they spot a drake (male mallard) doing a courting dance, songbirds, and other signs of spring.
