Thursday, March 12 & Friday, March 13: Sit-in demonstration at the Frederick ICE location

Sit-in demonstration at the Frederick ICE location at 3770 Puritan Way in Frederick. The action, organized by No Concentration Camps Colorado, has been held every day this week at 10 am, with its last announced day of action tomorrow morning, Friday, March 13.

Friday, March 13: Meeting with the Denver City Government Houseless Advisory Committee

Denver City Government holds a meeting every three months to hear from Denver’s houseless and those who work directly with Denver’s unhoused residents. Attendees can discuss their experiences with Denver city officials from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at Denver’s Central Library branch. Lunch will be provided. More details at house keyactionnetwork.org

 

Friday, March 13: Fair rules for big tech

Join over a Dozen Colorado-based environmental action groups demanding that state lawmakers take action to regulate tech companies ready to construct data centers throughout Colorado. The rally will touch down outside the Colorado Capitol building in Denver on the West steps, on Friday from 12 to 1 p.m. More information on the event page at 350colorado.org

Saturday, March 14: Good Riddance, Palantir

Denver Anti-War Action is inviting supporters of a more tech-balanced Denver to join in a victory rally celebrating defense-analytic software company Palantir moving its headquarters from Denver to Miami, Florida, at 3 p.m. at Denver’s TABOR center.

 

Saturday, March 14: Community Workshop: Protesting in the time of Fascism

General Strike, a national resistance group, is holding an in-person info session teaching risk assessment, protest stewardship, and dissent leadership in Fort Collins, Saturday, March 14, from 1-4 p.m. at the Old Town Library.

 

Saturday, March 14: Weekly Protest at Tesla dealership

Join SoBoCo Indivisible at the Superior Tesla dealer to stand up and speak out! This is a peaceful protest against the Trump administration, on all four corners outside the Tesla dealer, where there is lots of traffic to see you and read your messages. 2 S Marshall Rd in Superior Saturdays at 11 a.m.

Saturday, March 14: Rally and visibility event at BI corporate headquarters in Gunbarrel

Hosted by Immigrant Partnership Team and SoBoCo. BI is a wholly owned subsidiary of GEO Group, the private prison company, and they make ankle bracelets for ICE detainees. Bring a sign and tell BI to end its contract with ICE. The BI Corporate Headquarters is located at 6265 Gunbarrel Ave. Saturday at 2 p.m.

Wednesday afternoons: I-25 pedestrian bridge

Wednesday evenings: Weekly protest at the Arvada ICE facility

End of Month: Saturday, March 28

Forever Indivisible is stewarding Boulder’s No Kings rally on the 28th of March. The protest will meet again at the Bandshell located at Boulder’s central park at Canyon and Broadway. With hundreds of gatherings across the U.S. with past events gathering thousands across the front range, the No Kings gathering stands as a wide swath of Americans valuing people and democracy over the county’s most powerful people.
