Resistance Calendar: Week of March 6

Friday, March 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a Weekly protest in front of Congressman Gabe Evans’ Northglenn Office —  10701 Melody Dr., Suite 500, Northglenn

This is a peaceful gathering to urge Gabe Evans to have the courage to speak with his constituents, and defend our Freedom, our Constitution, and our Democracy. Rep. Evans remains silent in the face of the staggering level of corruption and other unconstitutional actions of this administration.

Also on Friday, March 6, a Weekly protest at the proposed Walsenburg ICE Facility from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Saturday, March 7 – actions from 12-2 p.m: “Stand up for Science” protest at the Denver Capitol Building

A gathering of support at the CO state capital, joining a nationwide effort to demand assured public health safety and support for local scientific research. More details can be found at https ://www.standupforscience.net/ – A nationwide day of action to bring attention to the administration’s dismantling of scientific research across the country.

Saturday, March 7 – “Stop Flock Colorado”

Organizers of ‘Eyes off Colorado’ say this event is an effort to raise awareness about flock surveillance and an effort to safeguard the Fourth Amendment rights of Coloradans. Protestors plan to gather at various known flock surveillance cameras near busy Colorado streets, including ones located near Broadway & Canyon in Boulder, one at Madison and E 21st Street in Loveland, and one at Mulberry and College in Fort Collins. Weekly demonstrations

11:00 a.m.: Weekly Protest at Tesla dealership

Join SoBoCo Indivisible at the Superior Tesla dealer to stand up and speak out! This is a peaceful protest against the Trump administration, on all four corners outside the Tesla dealer, where there is lots of traffic to see you and read your messages. 2 S Marshall Rd in Superior. Saturdays at 12 p.m. – Weekly Lyons Neighbors for Democracy protest by 3rd and Main in Lyons

That’s every Saturday at noon.

This coming Wednesday, March 11 – a Weekly protest at the Arvada ICE Facility at 6 p.m.

Located at 3130 Oakland St in Aurora.

The No Kings Coalition is planning the third No Kings rally for March 28

The protest will meet again at the Bandshell located at Boulder’s central park at Canyon and Broadway. With hundreds of gatherings across the U.S. with past events gathering thousands across the front range, the No Kings gathering stands as a wide swath of Americans valuing people and democracy over the county’s most powerful people.
