Opportunities and Threats to Colorado’s End of Life Choices Shannon Young

What do our new state end-of-life options organization, equitable access to choices, abortion, conscientious objection and medical tourism have in common? They are all pieces of the complicated terrain we face nationally as we move into Generation Two of allowing and protecting our rights to die with agency.

In this show, host Kim Mooney and guests talk about the burst of growth Colorado is mobilizing right now to make our law work better, and how opposition to end-of-life individual freedom is organizing nationally. We’ll also talk about ways that Coloradans can help.

This story aired on A Public Affair, KGNU’s weekday morning show featuring in-depth discussions on local news issues. Click here to listen to other episodes of A Public Affair.
