Income inequality in the world is generally decreasing because of improvements in poor countries. However, within some countries, including the U.S. inequality between certain populations is getting worse.  Income inequality is particularly true for some ethnically and racially marginalized people.

Hemispheres explores some of the elements that make challenging development projects work.
