Paul Rosolie – Protecting the Amazon Rainforests

Mother of GodOn Hemispheres tonight host Jim Banks interviews Amazonian rainforest conservationist Paul Rosolie. Paul is a herpetologist, naturalist, and author, and he has spent extensive time working and adventuring in the Amazon rainforests. Paul will discuss his adventures in the rain forests and his work protecting them from development. Paul is most recently famous for being eaten alive by a giant Anaconda on the Discovery Channel, and we’ll talk to him about that (Hint: to raise money to preserve the vanishing Amazonian rain forests).

His book Mother of God, about his life and his work to conserve and protect these precious ecosystems, has just come out in paperback.
