New Film “The Sky Inside” Immerses Audiences into Improvisational Dance Experience

Improvisational dancer and dance teacher Joanna Rotkin has released a new, experimental dance film featuring the work of her class, a collection of diverse individuals who create a one of a kind dance together. It’s called “The Sky Inside” and it is screening at the Boedecker Theater in The Dairy Arts Center Sunday night, April 28, Monday night, April 29th as well as Monday night, May 6th. KGNU’s Veronica Straight-Lingo spoke with Joanna Rotkin and her student, and film editor, Audrey Grace, about the film and their love of dance.
