The great ECM label continues to offer some great music that covers my interests in contemporary jazz and world musics so well. The releases here are just the tip of the iceberg. More than ever, I find music doesn’t neatly fit into a single genre box so it shouldn’t be a surprise to find an eclectic list here. There’s some incredible female writers and vocalists on this list, all performing from a deep place of honesty.
