Pink Floyd – Animals
Would love to hear a record top this in my lifetime, but I don’t see it happening. Been a Floyd (team Gilmour) head since I was a boy, hence the name of my old college radio show (Any Colour You Like)

If you could have any musician’s record collection, whose would it be?
Ira Kaplan from Yo La Tengo. I envision he’s got a full warehouse somewhere in Hoboken for spillover of his vast collection. When they go heavy on covers for their live shows (or do a proper release of covers), I rarely know more than 25% of the songs, always fun to make a playlist. He was a cratedigging editor at Village Voice, I hope we can bring YLT in for Kabaret the next chance we get, would be a fascinating chat!

What is something most people would be surprised to learn about you?
I used to be a scratch-ish golfer and my father was a golf teacher back home in South Georgia. Golf is in my blood as much as the Allman Brothers
