OAKLAND-In wrapping up our coverage of Martin Luther King Day events, we go to Oakland to hear of one action that took place outside of a Walmart to protest the recent killing of a Cleveland youth who was shot to death inside a Walmart.
In Oakland, a week of events leading up to Martin Luther King day culminated in direct actions across the city. You have heard from some of these actions in the past couple of Early Morning News reports. At this action at a local Walmart, protesters pay tribute to John Crawford, a black youth who witnesses say was playing with a toy gun in the store. Our Oakland correspondent reports:
