As part of our monthly look at four decades of programming on KGNU, board member and news producer Liz Lane speaks with chair of the KGNU board of directors Jon Walton about the last forty years of community radio and where KGNU is heading as we look to the future.

You can hear Flashback 40 on the third and fifth Monday of every month at 8.35am.  The theme song for this series is the Gnu Suite by Kenny Wheeler featuring Keith Jarrett, which was the first thing to be played on KGNU when it launched on May 22, 1978.
