Fast Food Workers Strike in Denver, Kicking off “Fight for 15” Nationwide Events

“I currently have to choose between paying bills and providing for my daughter.”

Mark Anthony Rodriguez is a McDonald’s worker who was protesting today at a McDonald’s on West Alameda near Federal Boulevard in Denver.  About 100 people gathered at the restaurant this morning starting at 6am as part of a national day of action in support of fast food workers and other low wage earners who are calling for $15 an hour minimum wage.
