Edward Abbey, Wallace Stegner and the Future of the American West

Edward Abbey and Wallace Stegner are two giants of the American West. Renowned authors whose writings inspired countless intrepid explorers…or migrants…to go west. They were also environmentalists who worked to preserve the western landscape that they both held so dear. David Gessner is author of All the Wild that Remains.

Abbey, Stegner, and the Future of the American West were  the subject of a special event happening July 9th in Boulder at the Boulder Public Library.
