In DPS Intern Talk, our host, Kalell Medina, a KGNU Summer intern through DPS, dives into the Denver Public School Career & College Success Internship Launch program 2022 to find out about what some of his fellow DPS students learned this summer. In addition to KGNU, other internship sites included Denver Public Library, Metro Caring, SAME Café, among others. For this first episode of DPS Intern Talk, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Theater Intern Supervisor & technical director, Trey Grimes, gave Kalell the opportunity to visit the iconic dance theater in person and record ambient sounds from a dance rehearsal, before sitting down with the technical theater interns for interviews. Kalell also interviewed an intern from Denver Office of Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resilience virtually.
