Denver Decides: Dr. Lisa Calderón

Denver Decides is a series on KGNU featuring city council and mayoral candidate forums as well as discussions on ballot measures facing Denver voters in the May 2019 municipal elections.

Dr. Lisa Calderón is running in the mayoral race. Dr. Calderón graduated from Metropolitan State University with a Bachelor’s degree in English and then attained a Master’s degree in Liberal Studies, focusing on Native American Studies, from the University of Denver. She later earned a law degree from the University of Colorado Boulder School of Law and then a Doctorate in Education from the University of Colorado School of Education and Human Development. She is currently full-time faculty at Regis University, teaching Criminal Justice and Sociology courses.

You can hear Denver Decides on Sundays from 6-7pm, Thursdays from 3-3.30pm and every other Tuesday 3-3.30pm throughout the month of April.
