To some people it’s kitchen scraps and yard waste, to others it’s garden magic. Composting has become more and more popular in recent years and it has become easier for people living in the nearly 100 cities around the country that offer curbside composting as part of their waste management plans. Here in Colorado Boulder, Denver and Louisville already offer some degree of curbside composting. As KGNU’s Caterina Zischke-Rincon reports, Lafayette is hoping to follow suit.
There will be a community meeting on curbside composting at the Lafayette public library, 775 West Baseline Rd., this evening from 6.30-7.30pm.
