On Saturday, June 14, the Colorado National Guard and U.S. Army crews that evacuated more than 1,200 people during the 2013 Flood will be honored at the Boulder Municipal Airport, giving the Boulder County community an opportunity to personally thank these men and women for their extraordinary service. The flood rescue appreciation will take place in conjunction with the biennial Boulder Airport Day and Open House.

This month there will be five gatherings of county officials and residents of various neighborhoods in unincorporated Boulder County to talk about the rebuilding process, available funding and other lingering flood recovery issues. Residents of Apple Valley, North and South St. Vrain and Longmont Dam Road neighborhoods can meet with county officials from 6:45 to 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday June 11th at Rogers Hall, Fourth Avenue and High Street, Lyon.
Residents of Raymond-Riverside neighborhoods can meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 12th, at Peaceful Valley Ranch, 475 Peaceful Valley Road.
