The Front Range is a major stopover for migratory birds

It’s bird migration season again. According to the US Fish and Wildlife Service, there are two world migratory bird days per year. This Saturday, the Environment for the Americas, a nonprofit in Boulder, will host a Migratory Bird Day celebration.

KGNU’s Jackie Sedley spoke with Director of Environment for the Americas Susan Bonfield about the event and why, this year the theme is “protect insects, protect birds.”
