“Chefs at the Shelter” is bringing Boulder chefs into the kitchen at All Roads: Radio Nibbles KGNU News
In John Lehndorff’s Nibbles column this week, he paid a visit to Boulder’s All Roads shelter to find out how Boulder’s unhoused community members are fed.
“I’ve written about food insecurity and talked about it for decades, but I realized recently that I had never actually, I didn’t know anything about how Boulder’s homeless population is fed,” said Lehndorff.
Lehndorff said of his experience, “ The chef the night I went was from The Sink. It was an okay meal of a pasta bolognese, some roasted vegetables, a little bit of salad, and garlic bread, and then donated cake. All donated, but in any case, perfectly adequate.”
