What if an aging and dying Sigmund Freud were confronted with Salvador Dali in his prime? What would you get? A mix of bizarre, funny, serious, and thoughtful moments in a splendidly silly exploration of the subconscious. That’s the crux of Hysteria, the latest production from the Boulder Ensemble Theater Company, at the Dairy Center for the Arts in Boulder. There will be a special preview tonight, and the show will premiere tomorrow evening. Shows will be Thursdays through Sundays, through May 17th.
Earlier, KGNU’s Veronica StraightLingo spoke with Hysteria Director, Michael Stricker, about the show.
